|
The RSW-2002 is a two input, single output automatic switch designed for
those applications where the loss of signal is critical. Although not a fiber
optic system per se, the RSW-2002 may be used with any fiber optic system to
implement a redundant, fail-safe signal transmission system.
The unit operates by accepting a main and backup modulated IRIG signal. Upon the loss
of either signal, the RSW-2002 will automatically switch to and provide the
remaining signal at it’s common output. indicators are provided to continuous
indicate the presence of signals in each channel as well as the
presence of operating power making system troubleshooting simple
