Block diagram of the MIL-1553 singnal Monitor Application

The Luxlink® DT/DR-7701 system consists of the DT-7701 transmitter and DR-7701 receiver. Both units utilize intensity modulation (IM) to transmit MIL-1553 signals for bus monitoring and diagnostic purposes. All voltages present on the bus from 0 to 5 volts are linearly transmitted allowing noise, hum and other undesirable analog and digital signals to be observed. Voltages from 5 to 20 volts are compressed but still transmitted for monitoring purposes.

Both multimode and single-mode versions are available.  Integral indicators are provided on both units to continuously indicate the presence of repetitive signals as well as the presence of operating power making system troubleshooting simple.
