Analog (Modulated) IRIG Time Code Transmission Systems

  • These Units transmit analog IRIG time code signal.
  • Can be configured in point to point or in a drop-and-repeat mode. 
  • All IRIG time codes form 10 Hz to 500 KHz are accommodated (including IRIG-B)
  • Signal level 3 Vpp. Impedance; 600 ohms, BNC connectors

Digital (Unmodulated) IRIG DCLS, & 1PPS DC Time Code Transmission Systems

  • These units transmit DC coupled TTL fast rise-time signals.
  • Can be configured in a  point-to-point or in a drop-and-repeat mode.
  • All signals from 1 pulse/second to 10,000 pulses/second are accommodated.
  • Rise- times; 20 nsec typically. Connectors; terminal blocks

Sine Wave (Analog 3V peak to peak) Transmission Systems

  • These units transmit 3 Volt pp sine waves between 20 Hz and 10 MHz.
  •  Impedance; 50 ohms. Connectors; BNC.  Contact us for higher frequency units.

Non-Fiber Distribution Amplifiers

IRGM-2004            Modulated IRIG 1x4 Electrical Distribution Amplifier (600 Ohm - IRIG Standard)
This unit is used to distribute modulated electrical IRIG signals, with one Coaxial input and and provides four coaxial outputs.

IRGM-2504            Modulated IRIG 1x4 Electrical Distribution Amplifier (50 Ohm sink & drive, non-standard).  This unit is used to distribute modulated electrical IRIG signals, with one Coaxial input and and provides four coaxial outputs.

IRGM-8004            DCLS (Un-modulated, digital) IRIG or PPS 1x4 Distribution Amplifier
This unit is used to distribute un-modulated electrical IRIG signals, with one Coaxial input and and provides four coaxial outputs.

INSM-2104            Precision 10 MHz Sine wave  1x4 Electrical Distribution Amplifier (50 Ohm sink & drive, 1V RMS).  This unit is used to distribute 10 MHz timing signals, with one Coaxial input and and provides four coaxial outputs.
 

Non-Fiber Optic Accessory Systems

ALM-1000            Alarm Module
This unit provides a visual and audible alarm upon the loss of signal from any LuxLink™ unit. A set of external contacts is also activated for remote indications.

RSW-2002            Redundant Switch for Modulate IRIG systems
This unit is used to implement a redundant, fail-safe IRIG system by providing a common output from one of two separate Modulated IRIG inputs. If the primary signal fails, the system automatically switches to the secondary signal.

RSW-4002            Redundant Switch for DCLS IRIG systems
This unit is used to implement a redundant, fail-safe IRIG system by providing a common output from one of two separate DCLS  IRIG inputs. If the primary signal fails, the system automatically switches to the secondary signal.

IRIG GPS Master Clocks    IRIG Clock Source based on GPS signals.

GPSX-1001        Transmission system for GPS NMEA-0183, NMEA-0183-HS and 1 PPS signals.

IRIG Format Converters

IRGC-1004            IRIG Format Converter;  Time code translator converts Modulated or DCLS IRIG-B |
                                to 1 pps (pulse per second)

IRGC-3003            IRIG Format Converter;  Time code translator converts Modulated IRIG to and from DCLS  signals.

TTLC-1004            Convert an unbalanced DCLS IRIG or PPS input signal into four differential/balanced floating outputs
 

Rack Mounting Panels
These panels are used to mount any LuxLink® fiber optic transmitter, receiver or transceiver in a standard EIA 19" rack frame. They will accept all transmission units as well as power supplies. Data sheet

  • RMP-1000 1U (1 ¾") Rack Mounting Panel with capacity for three units.
  • RMP-2000 2U (3 ½") Rack Mounting Panel with capacity for six units.
  • RMP-3000 3U (5 ¼") Rack Mounting Panel with capacity for 14 units.

  • PS-1205US (Wall plug)                   115 VAC to 12 VDC @0.5A Wall-type plug-in adapter.
  • PS-1210US (1 RMP position)        115 VAC to 12 VDC @1.0A Supply for RMP plates.
  • PS-1260US (2 RMP positions)      115 VAC to 12 VDC @6.0A Supply for RMP plates.

All LuxLink® Transmission units can be provided for direct plug-in use with an older Math Associates MCR-1000A rack mountable card cage on special order.
